​​1968  NAACP Youth Annual Report

Carolyn Quilloin Coleman, was one of three black students arrested for trying to eat lunch in a whites-only dining room on March 16, 1960. At the time, she was a senior in high school.

​ Carolyn rose through the ranks and in 1968 completed this NAACP Annual Report in her role as Regional Youth Field Director. Covered in this report is the 1968 Sanitation Strike, Youth Council Chartering and the youth council stance on topics such as education, employment and political action.
