Black Enterprise is a leading magazine geared towards African Americans that focuses on business, investing, and wealth-building resources. The magazine premiered in 1970 by Earl G. Graves Sr. to provide essential business information and advice to black individuals involved in all aspects of business. The publication also encourages those who aren't yet in business, but who desire to do so, to get active with affirming aspirations and providing the tools needed to achieve those goals. There are four channels of content included in the magazine: Publishing, Digital, Broadcasting, and Events. The mission of the journal is to educate and empower audiences to become full participants in wealth. One way this is accomplished is through their Wealth for life initiative. Wealth for Life provides relevant information for success minded people at every stage of their financial journey. The publication has grown to reach a readership of 3.7 million people.
